Just seen this .but sad to see it's still not over.

I'm delighted to have received notification from the CPS via Surrey Police that following my arrest in October 2022 and then again in April 2023, I will not be prosecuted for either malicious communications or harassment.

The CPS consider that the evidential test has not been met.

I am however still being sued for "misuse of private information" and I am very well aware that the complainant will inevitably exercise their right to review the CPS decision so I will say no more, at this stage.

You do know that monitoring her twitter could amount to harassment, don’t you.

ok sure. I clicked the link which was posted today a few posts above, the first thing you see on there are very derogatory transphobic posts on her public twitter account which I think the people depicted in them should know about.

I'm also interested in whether some of the replies to her post should be brought to the attention of the police? Someone has mentioned "Get a load of big blokes together to go with you" and someone else said something about "wielding a golf club". Obviously CF may not be responsible for what her twitter followers say but if they're making threatening comments then they need reported.

I see Caroline has posted images of trans women on her twitter publicly encouraging others to mock them. Are the trans women she has posted aware she has done this? I think it's fair they have a right to know incase they may wish to make a harassment complaint too.

Nice try, but no cigar.

Worst. Band. Ever.

Looking forward to their last concert though.

Based on my own very recent experience with a similarly lying complainant, unless the CF formally pled (plead?) not guilty, the CPS offered no evidence, and she was pronounced “not guilty”, it is standard that they can reopen the case.

It’s complete bullshit really and no doubt there will be a non zero number of people very keen to stir this up.

Another update from Caroline
Quick but important show and tell thread. Police officer told me that the CPS had warned me that if I mentioned Stephanie Hayden's name again it could be considered harassment.

https://twitter.com/CF_Farrow/status/1719332790208958731?t=5uM-aPRxufq5wNgrL-cFZQ&s=19

Obviously we were going to query this warning with the CPS. Turns out Surrey police were lying again and trying to suppress my article 10 rights. This is standard wording, no specific warning given.

The Police's behaviour is vindictive.

At last some good news for Caroline.

I've really enjoyed this thread lots of good "information " and I'm using the thanks button as a LIKE button.

Well, I'm on the naughty step for speculating about consent, so I don't dare ....

Gritty Tunnocks sounds like a Pony Club District Commissioner.🤣
Fantastic news for Caroline. I look forward to seeing what Surrey Police have to say for themselves.

anyolddinosaur · 30/10/2023 06:15

Caroline has probably had the sense to change all her passwords after the police taking all her tech, who knows what will have happened while devices were out of her control.

No idea of Lisa Townsend's politics but she is not doing a good job of holding the Sorry Police to account. This was a massive waste of public money and that time and effort could have been used where they have other failings. What is the point of a PCC if they dont hold the police to account?

As for the Australians - if that case was defended I imagine they would make much of the idea that a website hardly anyone has heard of and that is really difficult to find can hardly cause much reputational damage even if it does contain factual inaccuracies. Some people really make a great effort to seek out something to be offended by.

Apropos of nothing, this is a .gif for 'baseless' 😕 is...is that Riker?

I think it’s called Beyond Belief, I’ve never seen it but I’ve seen clips and it looks ridiculous. Jonathan Frakes is the host.

IcakethereforeIam · 29/10/2023 18:50

Just noticed my typo 'bite worried', Grin that's exactly what I was. I suspect infiltration into the factory by person or persons unknown. Has Caroline Farrow been seen anywhere near Glasgow?

SpiderMaan · 29/10/2023 18:44

Gritty Tunnocks sounds like a dreadful prospect!

IcakethereforeIam · 29/10/2023 17:40

I bought some Tunnocks yesterday. I was a bite worried because I'd heard they'd gone gritty. Thankfully, for mine at least, that accusation was completely baseless. Which doesn't remind me, at all, of anything on this thread.

It’s really important for Caroline to keep the power in this. We shouldn’t try and push things. She knows what’s what, and will surely shout when it’s time.

Lisa is a good egg, Crispin Blunt tried to remove her from her post recently. I should imagine she has to rigidly stick to the rules of her role.

So who, between the rank and role of PC Useful and her Chief Constable, bolloxed this up for her?

And how many steps did that take, and how did it go so wrong?

Witchesdontburn · 29/10/2023 16:35

AutumnCrow · 29/10/2023 15:14

In between PC Useful and the Police & Crime Commissioner Lisa Townsend there were many steps that had to be gone through in order that the PCC ended up briefed with PC Useful's writing of the narrative.

Lisa Townsend might not be my cup of tea (politically) but she is nobody's fool. Except, well ... maybe it looks like she possibly is.

So how it all came about is intriguing.

PCs do not brief PCCs. Only very senior officers and the Chief Constable (and their other advisers) brief PCCs. It's the chain of command in the middle that has some explaining to do. Who convinced who of what; and how did it pass up the chain?

Is there a crowd funder?

The final season of this drama is going to be well worth the wait (and the subscription fee).

Why can’t he be named if he is in leave of absence and his involvement is known.

He is possibly a she.
We don't know the cop's name as CF hasn't released it. Keep yer powder dry and all that.

I'm interested also in what the Commissioner had to say.

When all the attempts to discredit/criminalise Caroline have ground to a halt, which they will, and it is her turn to call many people to account, I'm sure we will have names.

BezMills · 29/10/2023 14:34

Sorry @Pixiedust1234 I couldn't resist!
