Just seen this .but sad to see it's still not over.

I'm delighted to have received notification from the CPS via Surrey Police that following my arrest in October 2022 and then again in April 2023, I will not be prosecuted for either malicious communications or harassment.

The CPS consider that the evidential test has not been met.

I am however still being sued for "misuse of private information" and I am very well aware that the complainant will inevitably exercise their right to review the CPS decision so I will say no more, at this stage.

To get back to more important matters, I was v pleased to find that caramel wafers have infiltrated down south, so I can still get my fix.

I think I may have to make some tablet tomorrow.

Nothing "fun" or "jokes" about threats of terrorist attacks IMHO

And I'm not suggesting anything. I said I saw a post by someone on the other website claiming to be Caroline Farrow making the threat. If that isn't her and is a sick troll impersonator then she might want to consult her lawyers to go about getting it removed and possibly trace whoever posted it.

How many barrels do you need to scrape Stephanneeee?

@DrLouiseJMoody i remember the probate episode, really awful. Are you looking at any sort of harassment complaint yourself?

It’s disgusting how one sided this is with people seemingly deliberately looking for posts/writing they could take offence at and interpreting them in the most inflammatory ways, knowing the police are in thrall.

Yes, I remember that as well. I can’t imagine how awful it must have felt, in the aftermath of your wife’s sudden death.

What it seems to indicate is that there is a person who finds the very existence of a group of people to be something this person wants to eradicate. Kind of the definition of bigotry, IMO.

@Stephannee

For the love of god, it's 'no one'.

It isn't one poxy word!

Do you need a welfare parcel? Bet you can’t get marmite walkers either. Savages.

I genuinely have no need for Marmite Walkers, as I can get Lays Barbecue. Which are awesome.

And I've never liked Monster Munch. Not since the 1970s.

@DrLouiseJMoody that's excellent advice. All the best to you and Caroline.

Jic, sorry for Tunnocky derails but someone was being tiresome.

DrLouiseJMoody · 31/10/2023 19:43

I'm sure that Caroline will move on with her life once:

  • The civil claim is concluded (read: won).
  • Surrey Police make appropriate restitution now they are being sued (the claim was stayed whilst the criminal case was ongoing).

The complainant would benefit from not looking at her (and mine, and Adrian's, and everyone else they take exception to for that matter) feed and doing nutjob things like obtaining my wife's Grant of Probate. If you behave in nutjob ways, the rest of us are going to conclude you are in fact a nutjob.

Off you bop, now.

IcakethereforeIam · 31/10/2023 19:43

I've only tried the Tunnocks from tesco....for science. I think I should go to Waitrose tomorrow and get a box of theirs to try....for science.

Gritty Tunnocks is definitely haunted by something in his past, something that won't stay buried.

HazardLights · 31/10/2023 19:35

I think Gritty Tunnocks was a police officer but went through something traumatic so left and became a PI.

Boiledbeetle · 31/10/2023 19:24

I think you should.

For safety purposes

Nods head wisely

Ok will do. Don't want to risk anyone else potentially getting a gritty teacake. I'll take ten one for the team

IcakethereforeIam · 31/10/2023 19:30

Gritty Tunnocks would be a great name for a new, hard-nosed detective (but with a heart of marshmallow).

The name's 'Tunnocks', Gritty Tunnocks.

Or an intimate skin complaint.

Boiledbeetle · 31/10/2023 19:24

nothingcomestonothing · 31/10/2023 19:20

I bought 2 boxes of the plain chocolate tea cakes today. Neither of the two I've tried so far were gritty, but I am willing to check the rest, just in the interests of safety...

Talking of gritty Tunnocks, I've finished the box and nairy a speck of grit was encountered. I think it must have just been a bad batch or it was a scurrilous rumour, totally lacking in any truth put about by......someone. Who? I'll probably never know.

Tell me <clutches pearls> that you can get pickled onion Monster Munch <bites lip>

AlisonDonut · 31/10/2023 19:01

I obtained a pack of Tunnocks caramels the other week. The ones in the Eddie Izzard dress foil.

I hadn't had any since moving to France and I'm sad to say, they weren't all that.

I was quite gutted as I'd missed them since moving away..

Not gritty, just not all they used to be.

HazardLights · 31/10/2023 19:10

I would like a wagon wheel now, one of the original big ones.

Just trying this out. Do I get the postnominals DC?

It was cruel that they made you choose.

I flew LoganAir today, got the choice of a Caramel Wafer or a tottie wee shortbread. Wafer please!

I don't ever buy them, but I'll have a freebie. Teacakes tho, can't buy em, they just get destroyed. I'll eat one every time I go to the kitchen!
