Oh another thread where presumably male people are telling women to be kind to a misogynist who has actively mocked female people and their lives.

It really doesn’t get clearer than this readers! Male people who will take any opportunity to scold women for not supporting other male people’s denigration of female people.

Wims! Use your abuser’s preferred pronouns now, won’t you? Wouldn’t want to upset the male people, would we.

No it's not.

An example of homophobia would be "guffawing so hard you pull something" at a gay person who has spoken about receiving abuse. You know, what Ms Rowling did.

We can correctly sex Dylan.
Gender identity ideology is meaningless to non believers.
No one can change sex so why should we pretend otherwise?

Forcing women to pander to male fantasy, fetish or poor mental health because it hurts male feelings when we say no is not 'kind'

Forcing women to put up with male people invading their single SEX spaces, services and sports because the male people think they are somehow women is not 'kind'

Male TRA'S sending raoe and death threats to women who disagree with them isn't 'kind'

As a student nurse, in Lesson 1 on Day 1 of our mental health module we were told we should never affirm people’s delusions. None of us are legally or morally obliged to play along with Dylan’s cynical fame-hungry attention-seeking. You call him “she/her” if you wish, but he’s nothing like a woman or girl, he insults both women and transwomen with his shtick.

Its not so much necessary, as inevitable if you are a fan of physical reality, logic, science and the English language.

Maybe when I delete those facets from my mode of communication, or I join the neo religion that is all the rage, things might be different.

In an act of breathtaking dissonance, The Guardian has this article in the same top story headlines as Dylan being nominated woman of the year.

Did no editor see the callousness of placing an article on a man who makes a mockery of women with his little girl act together with a story about a woman nearly dying from being denied maternity care in jail and left to labour alone in a shower? No tw will ever be subject to that particular abuse.

Viner is a joke. But these misogynistic headlines are anything but…

This is horrific, and as you say the dissonance is incredible

Oh Paloma. It’s not transphobic and it’s not bigotry to say Dylan is not a woman. It’s reality. The truth. Makes your blood boil, eh Paloma? Mine too, when women are happy to slur others as transphobic for not accepting the TWAW line. Being gender-critical is not transphobic, it’s a protected belief.

Dylan is a male person who likes wearing make-up and dresses and frothing excitedly about girlhood. No one is stopping Dylan from doing that or screaming STFU in Dylan’s face. If they are, then of course I disapprove. Bullying is wrong. Dylan can present any which way Dylan likes and that’s fine. Just don’t ask women to provide validation of an acquired gender identity; that’s not our job. We are not emotional support humans or validation props. Our sex-based reality, and the discrimination that we can and do experience as women, is not a costume that can be worn by a male.

Paloma, she's so righteous n'all.
Her "blood boils at the injustice" of it all.
Can't wait for the next time a puff piece calls her a serious, introspective and thoughtful artist. Because it'll be all so consistent.
