I hope his family are ok, it must be terrible even trying to function in such an appalling situation. I might disagree with him about almost everything, but I can't imagine the anxiety.

Regardless of politics, he’s in a dreadful situation and my heart goes out to his extended family. His wife’s grandparent is elderly, and she has nieces/nephews there - all of who will be left behind if her parents do manage to get out.

At least he expressed condolences for the Israelis that were brutally murdered and raped by Hamas. That’s more than many have managed.

Yes. And as Ova says, he is dealing with a lot at the moment. I imagine he has probably had it up to the eyeballs with first world genderbollocks.

Not a fan of Yousaf at all but perhaps under the current circumstances he's feeling less than gracious towards people who are pretendy victims of their feels.
