Presumably he didn't have immediate access to a legal team that could get the venue uncancelled in time?

Filia are lucky they seemed to have had a legal team on standby.

Re legal issues how come not 1 but 2 venues were permitted to cancel an event featuring Graham Linehan based on the fact his views could be considered to be promoting hate?
