Tough Crowd, due out 12 October. I’m delighted to see this. He is such a good writer and has sacrificed so much in defence of women’s rights and reality itself. Hope it’s a smash hit.

Just finished it (I am a very fast reader). Often startlingly honest and self deprecating. I won't do any spoilers but I absolutely snorted with laughter at the following -

When my face is in repose, I look like a pirate with a secret but Arthur wasn't following me around with a map and asking for clues' p51

NoWordForFluffy · 11/10/2023 20:23

I'd love to know total sales figures.

Waterstones are being crap. No dispatch yet. 😩

WorriedMutha · 11/10/2023 18:30

Mine is going in the suitcase to take on my holibobs on Friday. Oh happy days.

Watchinghockey · 11/10/2023 18:25

Mine arrived today, signed. Can't wait to settle down tonight and read it.

ArcaneWireless · 11/10/2023 18:21

Mine is here too. I can’t wait to get peace to read it.

I’ve read the signature though. Surprisingly legible considering his hand was probably throbbing.

It will be treasured.

Gaun yersel mister. 🙇🏽‍♀️

TidyDancer · 11/10/2023 17:04

Mine arrived today, I was very excited! Will sit and read a bit tonight but will binge it properly at the weekend.

Mine is signed! 🙂

AutumnCrow · 11/10/2023 16:53

Maybe, if anyone doesn't buy a signed one, say from their local bookshop, then if you send Graham an ex libris bookplate with an SAE he would sign that and return it? (Via his publisher or agent.)

Madcats · 11/10/2023 16:50

My book has arrived from the publishers (signed). It was order 8,3xx so that's quite a few hours' work. I saw a photo of him surrounded by waist height piles of books a few days back so I am guessing it is legit.

HermioneWeasley · 11/10/2023 16:48

I didn’t turn enough pages - mine are signed! Hurrah

HermioneWeasley · 11/10/2023 16:47

Mine aren’t signed 😭😭😭😭

Vegemiteandhoneyontoast · 11/10/2023 16:46

Waitwhat23 · 11/10/2023 13:17

Mine just arrived! And it's signed! Woo hoo!

Signature on mine is identical. Either they are the real deal or we got the same intern!!!!!!!

MavisMcMinty · 11/10/2023 14:54

Yay! Turns out Wednesdays are postman days! Mine isn’t signed, but nowhere during my order did it say it would be. And I’ll almost certainly pass it around my friends and family anyway, won’t have it for long.

TWETMIRF · 11/10/2023 14:46

Mine hasn't arrived yet 😭

Musomama1 · 11/10/2023 14:36

Mine's arrived yay! With an immaculate signature. 😎

BasiliskStare · 11/10/2023 14:30

Daiyu · 11/10/2023 14:27

I'm happy to buy one too and pay you for postage

MyLadyDisdainlsYetLiving · 11/10/2023 13:54

Mine arrived. Read the prologue over lunch, Grahams writing style drew me in so much hard to put down but work calls.

I ordered two copies somehow, this could be due to having one copy in my basket exiting the site for some reason, then going back and adding a copy. No matter, one is a present.

This morning I received two packages each containing two books. Four times the fun!

I’ve been in touch with the publisher and am awaiting instructions on how to return the extra two. This suggests to me that the publisher may have been run ragged with so many orders. I do hope so

Just flipped to the end to read the Acknowledgements. It's quite mind blowing to see all the names of those who have been fighting this fight all written down - there's pages and pages!

crumpet · 11/10/2023 13:22

Mine too

Whatsnewpussyhat · 11/10/2023 13:19

Got mine today too. Neatly signed.
