Tough Crowd, due out 12 October. I’m delighted to see this. He is such a good writer and has sacrificed so much in defence of women’s rights and reality itself. Hope it’s a smash hit.

I had a look at 'customers also bought'. By page 4 it's unflavoured toothpaste and peppermint tea bagsConfused. The 'Gay Shame' book looks interesting. Yay, Roisin Murphy.

I love that on amazon it recommended buying it with JK's new book as they are commonly bought together!

IcakethereforeIam · 26/09/2023 21:44

Perhaps a bunch have been bought by tras so they can burn them 😁

Barr77 · 26/09/2023 21:39

I’ve ordered directly from the publisher too.

Does anyone know how many books it takes to become a runaway best seller? 10,000?

I hope Glinner’s heart lifts a little when he sees the the growing support materialising into book sales.

Barbiesdreamhousenotmojodojocasahouse · 26/09/2023 20:28

Mine also in the junk folder, whoop!

ButDaddyILoveHim · 26/09/2023 19:56

I'll have to wait until Friday (payday) but will order direct from the publisher then. Thank you @glinner.

DialSquare · 26/09/2023 18:58

I've just found mine in the junk folder too. Woohoo!

duc748 · 26/09/2023 18:49

Just checked my Junk folder, and there it is! Signed copy on the way. Woot! 😃

porridgecake · 26/09/2023 18:45

Bless him. He will have RSI from all the signing. I hope he and the publishers make a fortune.

porridgecake · 26/09/2023 18:42

Sorry, I slightly misquoted what they said. The gist was correct though.

Oh I ordered from Amazon so perhaps you have to order directly from the publisher to be signed? Wish I had known x

Perhaps it's not too late to cancel the order from Amazon and reorder from Eye Books?

ArcaneWireless · 26/09/2023 18:07

Is it in your junk mail bit vegemite?

Not yet. OH ordered it and he hasn't set up the junk mail facility yet so gets everything.

It's good to know the publisher is overwhelmed, isn't it.

SomersetBrie · 26/09/2023 18:21

Signed copy! This has made my day!

Okay, maybe they just haven't sent it us yet.

Farmageddon · 26/09/2023 18:02

Vegemiteandhoneyontoast · 26/09/2023 18:01

Hm, we have't heard anything from them.

Mine went into junk mail, so maybe it's there.

Saucery · 26/09/2023 18:02

I’ve just got that email, confirming postage dates and that the copy will be signed.

porridgecake · 26/09/2023 17:58

They are updating customers with further information about delivery times and it is in there. It is very heart warming.

porridgecake · 26/09/2023 17:51

Apparently the publishers had huge opposition to publishing this book from "within the industry" and are overwhelmed by the number of orders. Good.

Ooh, nice, where did you see that?
