I’m glad this is being reported because a lot of people simply refuse to believe this is happening. I attend dating events for women, and the official rules are it’s for “women with vulvas”. I can’t say I’m too jazzed about it, because it still technically allows males in. However, given that so many transwomen retain their penises it means that very very few transwomen would be able to join anyway. It still sucks that we can’t just say it’s a space for bi and lesbian women only.

Which seems fair enough. But as I have learned, this is apparently not fair enough.

So what should be a nice fun evening for lesbians to chat and flirt has now been spoilt by selfish entitled men - sorry women with penises - who can’t possibly not be included in something hat has sweet fa to do with them.

Rhetorical question - does anyone think his would happen if there was a gay mens dating event? Would trans men be throwing their toys out the pram because homosexual men don’t want sex with people with vagina? Think we know the answer to that one

What the hell is "transphobia" in this instance? Lesbians wanting to date women, with female genitals, is that transphobia? Rhetorical question, yes of course it's transphobia, everything is transphobic. Reminds me of the Joe Jackson song, "Everything gives you cancer, everything... there's no cure, there's no answer, everything..."

This is the sleight of hand that's been pulled. Lesbians are women. Not men. You can be "trans inclusive" and still single sex.

And, naturally, they've reported the organiser Jenny to her employer. Hoping to get her sacked from her job, nasty bunch that they are. And the pub is investigating that the events aren't 'trans inclusive'. FFS, why should they be?
