Am i missing something? The shirt says leave trans kids alone, would the freaks not be the ones agreeing to medicate them or educational institutions getting between them and their families. I would want kids who say they're trans to be able to safely explore what they think it means to them away from the harm of these institutions. How would we work out what David thinks his tee shirt means?

I’m gender critical but I completely agree with you on this. TERF shouldn’t get slung about as an insult and neither should handmaiden. We need to be able to disagree and debate respectfully. 🤝

His Son was described as such last year but there’s recent article in hello that mentions his ‘child’s’ birthday and a message from his Sister about her ‘sibling’ , the article also uses ‘their’ when talking about the Son.

The other kids have obviously been thoroughly coached on pronoun use and trans-speak.
Lets hope it stays with the boy only having long hair, he has a very Male name.

I don’t personally believe in the concept of trans kids. But I understand if you do, you’re entitled to your opinion.

But once you start calling those who disagree with you ‘absolute freaks’ (and reportedly using the sexist slur ‘TERF’) then you’ve lost my respect. Such a shame.

It's not a minority view. Most people think humans (like all mammals) can't change sex. However being open and honest about that opinion knowing the consequences, including threats and violence, yes it's the minority who have real integrity and speak up.

(No denigration on those who don't speak up, I'm not one of the very brave ones either)

You don’t have to boycott them. Russel T. Davies who’s writing them is also an outspoken transactivist and I’m concerned the stories might be lost in a mire of in-your-face activism, but I shall watch and see.

If his child claims to be NB, then it’s understandable that he would want to support him or her. I’m sad at the antagonistic use of “freaks” though. That takes it into name calling territory, which is inherently abusive.

He's good at what he does - pretending to be someone he's not - so it's probably not a huge leap to pretend mammals can change sex.

I hope his child avoids being irreversibly damaged by surgery and drugs.
