Ha! Not in the least bit surprised. I knew this was coming. NB and then transmasc- it was obvious this is where she was heading. Knox has to make an announcement or ‘come out’ in some way on a regular basis. She is desperate for validation and attention. None of it seems to be working to make her happier.

She’s such a monumental attention seeker. All that crap about “it took months of introspection, therapy, long chats with loved ones, plenty of tears, and pushing through a lot of fear and denial”. What the fuck is all that about? I mean she was already “out” as trans why would it be so traumatic to be a different variety of “trans”? Will it be like this every time she shifts along the trans spectrum? Don’t other trans people ever get sick and tired of attention seekers like this?

I did the same. Dietrich was my heroine! But I'm just a boring old heterosexual, married to a man, with a dd. No one in my household looks like they're transing, or is likely to. Poor old me eh? I expect the group I belong to, of "completely fucking boring" is actually the most marginalised and oppressed. Would that mean I am stunning and brave?

What are the chances, in one family, of having the dad, the mum and a son be 'born in the wrong body'? Surely even they must see that this is a statistical near impossibility.

When I was a teenager, I saw old 1930's movies of Marlena Dietrich in menswear. I thought it amazing and bought vests ties , jackets, coats in the boys department all the while with long hair and feminine makeup.
I loved the style and so did tons of men.
Ironically when I came out as lesbian I sadly ditched the style as I didn't want people to think I was butch ( I don't like roles).
Menswear on women is a fun style

Its like those poor young women you see on tik tok with botched phalloplasties who clearly regret it but have set themselves up as an inspiration to “trans youth” and therefore seem to feel that they have to keep going with the facade

I've read a fair bit about AJK, parts of their book and watched some of their MM stuff. And I feel pretty sorry for them tbh. They's clearly not really happy with their spouse going trans and poly (does anyone really welcome a unilateral spousal decision to go poly), they has a child who was also trans, desisted and then went NB, I think the whole family has suffered from AJK's transwoman wife coming out and AJK is trying to hold it all together by leaning heavily into rainbow 'joy'. But their frustration and sadness leaks out as anger. I don't think they is in a good place and they is not as happy as they pretends to be.
