I think this is a good time to go over all the bad things JKR has done (as started on the did he or didn't he Jon Stewart thread)

Earlier, I went into the bathroom and I noticed JK Rowling had moved the cat litter tray so I stood in a little bit of cat poop.

She makes it drop below freezing overnight on days when she knows I'll be in a rush next morning and won't have time to defrost the windscreen. Then she hides the scraper AND antifreeze spray every bastarding time so that I have to use the spatula from the kitchen again. Utter cow.

JKR wore my favourite wool socks, then put them back in my sock drawer unwashed. I didn’t even notice until they warmed up. I was already on the bus to work then. Angry

She made me show the kids the Siri “lumos” trick and then, enchanted with my wit and humour, say “wingardium leviosa!” and fling my phone high into the air. DC looked at me deadpan and walked away but I thought I was so funny I may have done a slight wee on the clean sheets. JK’s fault.
Ive just shown dd and shes now screaming hysterically at siri 😀

JKR is responsible for all the times pizza goes from cheese barely melting to completely incinerated in the time it takes to pick up the oven gloves.

She's taught my toddler that laying on the sofa for 20 minutes then sitting up to proclaim "I'm rested now" is equal to a 2 hour nap... she clearly also told him that his silliness just before bed is cute...

You are also right that only She Who Must Not Be Named could come up with something as heinous as peal-to-reseal. Those packets come apart in quite extraordinary ways; the idea of resealing them is simply a stickery mockery as one tries to prevent an avalanche of couscous/pasta/rice/whatever from the enormous rip that has appeared despite precision opening.
