This came up in my notifications this morning. She is fearless! I thought I’d share here as it would be an good conversation to have with the intelligent women of FWR.

In the light of people finally smelling the coffee & seeing that the left is full of racist and sexist melts I am just going to say it: None of the black women Corbyn has promoted have got there via merit. They have all been used as tokens and are not qualified for the roles.

This is intentional as people like Corbyn cannot deal with successful minorities especially if they are women. But they also don’t want their deep held racism to show so they cherry pick people who will take the roles given to them, say what they are told and who are dispensable.

Poor Kate Osamor is finding this out after years in the Party and on the left. I say poor Kate because it’s sad to see how blind she and many are, but she is not a victim and needs to give the whole they let me down a break. She knew what she was doing. She knew and benefited.

My initial reaction was shock and admiration for someone saying this ‘out loud’, but my gut response is agreement. Although it is a very sweeping statement.

Dawn Butler is dreadful. She sits beside Corbyn during PMQ muttering away and nodding in agreement. I don't like the word handmaiden but in her case she really is Corbyn's handmaiden.

Kate Osamor and Fiona Onasanya are disgraceful liars.

Dawn Butler Shadow Women & Equalities Minister was keynote speaker at Jane Fae's TRA conference September 2018, 'We're Still Here'.

"3) Keynote Speech: Dawn Butler MP: Shadow Women & Equalities

This speech was fucking cringe. She said she was an ally of LGBT but had got a lot of messages moaning at her for “betraying women”. “Despite the fact I AM a woman.”

She mentioned all the countries that have self ID (RoI, Argentina, Malta, Norway). Apparently she’d been to Malta recently and it was “really chill.”

She blames the Tories for allowing this debate to drag on. “It is cruel.”

The impact of self ID are “non existent”. She said if this had been done swiftly there would be none of the current fuss or transphobia.

She said

  1. the LGBT community needs to mobilise
  2. They need to contribute to the consultation
  3. They need to change the tone of the debate (lolercaust)

She also went on to say that a “phobia” is an irrational fear and there are three treatments:

  1. Hypnosis
  2. Talking therapy
  3. Immersion therapy

Apparently the only way forward to deal with transphobia is talking therapy. DB said that the conservation needs to be around counties that already have self ID and it’s “fine”

Hilariously, given that the audience contained fucking Dr Harrop, she said something like “keyboard warriors don’t know the consequences of their actions.”

DB: “Labour will champion the unheard.”

She said that this was another form of Section 28 on the trans community.

She then quoted at length from a song from “The Greatest Showman”. I wish I was making that up.

Also, she got cornered by Mermaids reps on the way out and is meeting with them and their kids soon." (continues)

Ouch. I love Nimco but am not sure she's on the ball here. As TimeLady says, there are plenty of Labour MPs who won't serve in a Corbyn shadow cabinet, so his options are limited.

Perhaps more importantly, I think the front bench of both major parties are full of useless incompetents who should be nowhere near a ministerial brief. I think we have a bigger problem and that's the personnel making up the entire political class, of all ideological stripes.

TimeLady · 30/12/2018 09:25

I'm not convinced that many of the others, regardless of sex or colour, are there by merit either. JC had so many resignations, he's had to resort to the z-list to fill the posts.
