That is scary as fuck. So there IS something else going on here. I'm a very live and let live person, and I wouldn't even be bothered if I saw the odd trans woman in the women's toilets and it wouldn't bother me to refer to them as her out of politeness.
But something about this whole campaign, the aggressiveness, has just felt off.
They are drawing parallel's with the gay rights movement, but that seemed very straightforward and honest in comparison. Gay people never said that heterosexuality didn't really exist or try to change the definition of it. They didn't shut down debate.

Apply online for a cert (I'm sure they have access to computers and to say no would be a "human rights outrage" I'm sure)
Then IMMEDIATE transfer to the women's estate no questions asked, no ability to even think about putting them anywhere else as they are legally women

I went on Twitter the other day (I don't normally, except for work) and I looked at the other side of this no debate debate. I found women, actual women, crowing about the removal of the adult human female poster being taken down and saying it was a hate crime.
Firstly, hate crimes very much exist-I grew up in an Asian area in the 80s, I know.
But that poster wasn't one. Grooming and molesting children-that's a crime, a real one.
Anto be with half a brain KNOWS that any nonce in prison is going to want the soft option! They will do and say anything to get that! I am incensed that crimes like this will be recorded as female. It shows utter contempt for reality and justice.

The only way for this to happen would be for public services incl. Ministry of Justice, Police, Passport Authority, NHS, Education etce etc to record sex as well as gender identity.

Sadly, I do think there are gender dysphoric transsexuals who I happily supported once. Funnily enough, they never try to loudly encroach on female spaces and no platform other women, you know, because they genuinely do seem to understand what it is to be female. Funnily enough, one of those radicalized me on Twitter. When I first followed Miranda Yardley's interactions with TRA I was speechless. Shocked. Floored. Haha. But she went on to convince me.

This is very true for Austria, it seems. I just read up and, apparently, in 2009 the Austrian state lost its case against a transwoman who insisted on a sex change in the documents without sex reassignment surgery. Since that time, in Austria, women can have penises.

And this year an intersex person won the right from the state to a third sex in the passport, and first thing after this sentence was some lawyers in newspapers arguing, that this should mean self ID for anyone now.
