I just find it bizarre- that Meg is left flapping in the wind and Harry isn’t issuing a joint statement with her.
Why is it all on her to come up with dates and info and not Harry?

TBF - she has been totally silent about his recent issues and left him flapping in the wind - Sentebale, Africa Parks, losing the ANL case

To any lurkers wondering how nasty the RF board can be here is a prime example - let them to it.

You obviously weren’t around when Meghans mob were posting about the POW.

They operate in a very strange way for a couple that supposedly move together like salt n pepper

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 24/10/2026 15:12

What would you expect her to do or say, in fairness?

For at least a year after getting this news she was a member of the RF. Granted they were probably occupied with planning their exit, but was there no way she could have asked for discreet enquiries to be made if she was concerned?

Or perhaps she wasn't because the allegations of CSA weren't what she was told.

IcedPurple · 24/10/2026 15:12

AtIusvue · 24/10/2026 15:02

That’s the thing. I do feel sympathy for Meg because the family is utterly appalling. All of them.

This is why Meg was such a risk to the RF. She came from nowhere and no one knew anything about her and her family background. She hid her family from Harry and created a narrative of who she was to fit in with him.

If Harry was going out with the usual posho, the RF would know all about them, their family, who they are friends with, what schools they went to, what scandals the family had. Its a small world they inhabit. Even though Kate wasn’t an aristo, she went to the right schools etc and was easily ‘verified’

Yes, I never blamed Meghan for cutting off relations with her family. They are all low life.

I also think the Palace errred big time in letting her become a working royal so quickly. Not only was she an American actress who knew nothing about royal life, her family were obviously problematic. Quite how problematic they may not have known, but it was clear there was potential for serious trouble ahead. She should have been told to wait a while, especially as she was pregnant within a few months of her wedding, to settle into royal life before being allowed to officially represent the monarchy of a country she knew and cared little about.

But that's all history now I guess.

Starryfifty · 24/10/2026 15:13

I really don't think HAM can be involved with any children's charities now

jeffgoldblum · 24/10/2026 15:13

I’m really not a fan of Andy burnham.

For the record, I've had to turn in a phone battery and iPad battery thst swelled dangerously for safe disposal. Also, I think TM Sr moved to Mexico in 2011 sincecitcwas cheaper than California. He may have been too broke to buy new tech.

I thought the lawyer's comments about customs were interesting. The boxes would have been shipped from Mexico to the Philippines before going onto the US. If TM Jr was able to immediately spot CSA, then a trained customs inspector should have picked it up.

Yes. I agree. It’s an element of this situation thats really bothering me.

Don't even ask that. It can always get worse. Harry is probably grateful he hasn't published his engagements for November yet.

Both Harry and Meg have great memories over every little detail and infraction of the RF…..but can’t rem the date of this?

They made a NF docu about things that happened up to 6 years earlier….but they can’t between them, remember when they got this devastating news?

Edited

It’s the kind of thing you’d go forward thinking - what a start to the new year that was.

MrsDanversGlidesAgain · 24/10/2026 15:16

This is the norm on the RF threads.

And yet here you are.....

I'll probably get reported as I've spoilt their thread

You flatter yourself.

PullTheBricksDown · 24/10/2026 15:17

None of this excuses CSA by the way. It's always the fault of the abusers and deserves to be brought to light. For that to happen - which is hard enough already given that governments and powerful institutions globally seem keen to let these people off the hook whenever possible - the evidence and investigation needs to be carefully and properly done. All this confusion about the what, where and who doesn't help.

I think it does exist, I believe the Met have now confirmed that it does and was shared with Meghan in 2018.

It doesn’t explain why she was allowed to make a copy.

The whole thing is extremely odd.

Sorry if I missed it, but is there any actual evidence for the existence of this supposed “letter”.

Have the Met actually confirmed that it exists?

I cannot believe any of this unless we see some actual evidence.

The vitriol on this thread towards a person and a couple who none of you have likely ever met is off the scale.

What is wrong with you?

I have a genuine question. Every single day, every single time, the argument is that people ought not to comment about "those you've never met or people you don't know*.
Do you only have an opinion on people who you actually meet? So no opinion on Trump, Netanyahu, Burnham... anyone? How on earth do you decide to vote?
Anyway. It's a bit hypocritical because you've got an opinion of people on this thread who you don't know!

On the other hand, they found out how unsuitable she and H were as a couple sooner, rather than later.

Truth is a defence against libel .

I can be here you don't run the thread

I'm sure you can point to where I claimed that.

You carry on with your libelous chatter though

I'm sure you can point to what's libellous, as well.

Well, I wouldn't lump Burnham in with Trump and Netanyahu personally. However these are all heads of state (again, except Burnham) who have been elected. None of which applies to this couple.

TBH, I think if Trump or Netanyahu (or Putin or Xi) ever stumbled across this thread they'd close the door very softly behind them and tiptoe away.

The Palace would have been accused of racism if they hadn’t let M become a WR straight away .
The late Queen suggested they take time out first . They refused . M was offered support from lots of people but refused all of it .
Any attempt to rein her in would have been seen negatively.

PullTheBricksDown · 24/10/2026 15:29

Yes, I expect libel proceedings against message board posters would be an appropriate priority in this situation. I'll wait for those to begin. Let's see if David Sherborne is free for this case.
