I bought this skirt it's bloody amazing but tights? Help

Fit is amazing
feel amazing
looks really expensive.

But if I wore it with black tights, would it look weird ? if I wore it with knee boots would it break up the whole split thing so I think I have to work with heels and then what on my legs?

I'm thinking sheer but not SEXEH sheer tights.

I got those 60/80 denier sheer looking thermal tights last year. A deep grey brown on a skin tone tights. Game changer. Think they were £16 from an indie dept store. Eg from next:

How does the flappy bit work. Does it lie flat or does it waft around as you walk? I'd be tempted to play with it when I was sitting down. And I'm disturbed about how inunendo-ish that all sounds 😀

If I knacker one stocking I can till use the good one with one from a new pair. Saves me a lot on money over years of tights. They are 60 denier, toasty!

I always hated stockings, though you are right...ladder one and you still have a spare.

As for tights, I haven't worn them for years, and probably wont again.
The last time I did think I would give them another go, they were very short in the leg, I am tall, and I did my back in trying to pull them up past my hips.

Really? Have a similar midi one from last year I wore loads. Colleague had the brown one.

I stopped a woman in the street to compliment her on her skirt, which was this one. She was wearing slouchy suede low heel boots. Not sure about the tights situation, was too busy marvelling that it was from M&S

I would wear sheer black or charcoal or a tiny all over pattern - bought some lovely ones tonight in Tesco of all places with little tiny bow pattern
I would wear heeled ankle boots

I’d wear it as evening wear with Wolford Neon 40 in Gobi or black patterned tights. Pointy ankle boots and a plain silk body.

For daytime - M&S do a long sleeve v-neck body that was also on their London FW show. Thick, mini shoulder pads - very stylish as I bought it after hunting it down

I have nothing useful to add, save that I wish that I were young enough and slim enough to wear the skirt - it looks gorgeous.
