DP has at least 2 posts a week deleted.

I've said repeatedly that I don't want dp to be banned

I do want her to stop being deliberately nasty though

I am a "forthright and contentious poster" I think

but thankfully there isn't a large group of MNers who vociferously want me banned (there may be one or two)

because I don't go around deliberately attacking people and making hurtful remarks just for effect

God this is so depressing

That people are defending the right of someone to swan around the site, picking on people, finding their weaknesses, and then poking and prodding until they break

That people are defending someone who has driven people with children with special needs to leave the site or stop posting

That people are defending someone who repeatedly targets others who are in minorities and attacks that minority in order to cause maximum offense

If someone comes up to you and says "you disgust me, you are a sin against nature" is it really reaonsable to expect that person not to bite back? And if they don't, and they hide the thread, what about the next person, and the next.

It is the virtual equivalent of a person who walks around in RL, going up to strangers and spitting in their faces.

DP causes far far to much hurt, harm and despair to others. It honestly upsets me to see the way she goes in for the kill over and over and over. And if people don't know her - well what are they to think? they don't know "oh well it's only DP".

Honestly I hate to row but this has gone too far. She has managed to reach a point where one of the nicest, calmest, kindest people on the boards has given up. What does that say.

I didn't say it was justified but it is certainly provoked - it's worth being aware of cause and effect, isn't it?

I'm sick of seeing rows on thread which have blown up because DP has again, quite deliberately, said something hurtful and vile

she attacks the same people over and over again and then goes boneless like a fucking toddler when they retaliate "oh, poor me, I could fill a book with the attacks that have been made on poor baffled little me"

and I feel a fool for trying to be reasonable, suggesting that an apology and an undertaking to stop doing it would be enough

DP- I have said before that I think somewhere inside you there is a good person. We have spoken on here a few times (without me knowing of your insults to other posters) when I haven't seen the troll..

However, you still aren't showing much remorse about how you've upset so many decent people on here. Your views are your views, but you provoke an argument and then try and justify it though making jokes. You must appreciate an out and out apology and acceptance that what you have said is wrong is far better?

I don't want to see you banned as I think everyone deserves a chance to make amends. If you really understand why you have upset some MNetters, I think you should rethink how you chat on here.

If I were you I'd also stop trying to talk to those on here who may never accept you apology...

Not pleasant, no, DP. But you need to have a long, hard think about why people post such things, and consider just how annoyed and upset they get because of the things you say to them.

why do you think somebody would post that dp? Could it be because of your vile hurtful remark, especially to LG, about her lifestyule being unnatural, looking like a trucker? Or was it the bit about gay people not being fit to be parents?

I know people have attacked you. They've attacked you because you have hurt and upset them.

YOU on the other hand attack people because you enjoy the attention and you don't give a fuck about other people. BIG difference.
