I've seen two invasions now - one launched by CUK and another launched by a forum called Roll on Friday - and frankly, they were both hilarious, resulting in MN repelling all invaders with ease. As long as we have Tethersend, the MN equivalent of Trident (only fully-functional), we'll be fine.

I'm glad it has. I hope they're not planning on coming back. I don't get what people get out of trolling like that, as a pasttime, it's crazy.

It says Mumsnet twice that I saw on that thread DOT, you are right. We should maybe join and let them know that the CUKers are up for invading?! Then they can invade each other? (that sounds dirty doesn't it? )

Yes, they're talking about an attack on Confetti, but further down they say MumsNet is next and apparantly (I've seen elsewhere since I posted OP) they've already started here.

Missed first time I read through that it was a quote from before, still it stands they're organised trolls who do it for fun and have threatened to start here.
