Oh yes please! Most of his comedy is unmimickable because it's all in the actions and the eyes! But the other day I did randomly find myself reciting the Englebert Humperdink lines here, and then is he dead make me PMSL! It's the eyes!

Me too Le Singe - because I have 2 little boys and it struck home. I had NO idea that such a young child would feel the acute loss so profoundly. He seemed so very clear about life before and after and I was really saddened by it. Such a heavy heart for such a funny man to bear.

I remember this because I was in a french ambulance once, bleeding everywhere and the crew asked me, (in French) if I spoke French and I just laughed and said:

I am slightly embarrassed to admit but when I was watching his story of many marathons I turned to someone nearby and said...

"I am going to make my children watch this because he is a proper hero"

I am praying I was drunk at the time. However, it is true he is an incredibly interesting man and accomplished and smart and funny with it.

btw wrt the singe, i am absolutely certain that he said dans l'arbre in the show i saw, i'd bet my life on it. me and ex-bf were saying it all the way home, le SIIIINGE est dans L'AAAAAAAAAAAAARBRE. let's ask him if he changed little bits of his act to keep things fresh.

If he won't come on, maybe MNHQ could persuade him to come to Pushkas for a cup tea in the forest and look for singes in the arbres or felines drilling behind the settee.

He was much admired for all sorts of reasons before Eddie Iz Running,..but think he has has singularly (well, and his team of course) galvanised a nation.

he is an amazing and inspirational man.

Eddie rocks... simple que ca !
