What SINGLE thing would make Mumsnet better for you?

My thread. My rules. No arguments.

Right, I will start:

I do wish people would spend more time reading than posting. So often you have a thread (quite often an AIBU) where someone says "I haven't read the thread but YABU" or more often lately the highly unnecessary YABVVVVVVVVU when the thread has moved on hugely since the op, the arguments have all been had, everyone has bitched and moaned, made up, had a cup of tea, done a bit of ironing. If there is a slightly sparky looking OP and hundreds of posts on a thread, why not take that as a clue that the thread may well have moved on, questions asked and answers given, and read before you post?

Oh and I STILL see text speak and I don't want to tell everyone individually so can we have a note on the antenatal/pregnancy/conception threads as that's where a lot of the newbies are.

Being able to hide a theme. For me, it's the dog shit threads (every week or so) and 'How Stupid Are Americans' threads (every few weeks) They pop up all over the place. AIBU. Chat.

and the Friday Night topic- and since MNHQ didn't see my post on the other thread amoungst all the sex talk.

I suggested that it was an opt in topic with a 24 hour delay so you couldn't join then post immediately to avoid some of the drunk trolling.
