Dear mnhq, it's about moving adverts again

If there is another thread about this then I'm sorry. I've had a shufty in site stuff and can't find one.

The thing is I really, really do not like moving adverts over there ->

It doesn't matter what it is, the gurning kid from cbeebies, the Bold man stroking himself, Jackie Chan and a piglet that runs at unnatural speed...

My eye is drawn and it is annoying. It is so annoying that I am actively put off whatever is being advertised.

I know there is some sort of doohickey for hiding ads but I don't want to do that as every now and then I do click on an ad, and I know it's how you generate income.

See I can see a hula hoop ad now that is perfectly still and lovely, oh I see there is a bit flashing at the bottom but that is OK. I am thinking about hula hoops in a positive upbeat way. I do not have the same feelings for Jackie Chan.

I agree with you Slubber. It's really annoying...

And the Thomson family has annoying eye-catching changing words... so 3/10 annoyance factor

I'm going to do a feedback for you on the ads I've seen today. Just so you know my feelings on these matters.(because I know you care )

So at the moment I've got the tesco baskets on the R and boden up the top. Boden is fine as it is static. Tesco is moderately annoying, say a 6 ot of ten, the jumping basket is occasionaly making me think grr, stop your jumping, you jumping tesco basket.

I've had First Choice as well, which although is moving, is sloooooowly moving. And there is sea on it. I'm going to give it a 3 out of 10 for annoyance.

Hula hoops are winning by a mile.
