... to press their fat, ugly, faces against the windows of Google's UK Headquarters and watch us eat vol au vents and quaff vino.

Hope you can make it.

New Entrants : before we take a closer look at your poems, can you tell us what you and your guest might wear?

Sang to the tune of Lord of The Dance:

Chavs, chavs wherever you may be
You?re not invited to the Mumsnet party
There?ll be Boden clothes and mini toad-in-the-hole
But you?ll be stuck at home with your Greggs sausage roll

No mingling with politicos, no rubbing shoulders with VIPS
You won?t be holding court with red wine and vintage cheese
While the bigwigs live it up in London town
You?ll be sat at home in your stained dressing gown.

Tortington · 14/02/2010 19:48

Tickets this way for the MN Express
Come and watch ponces making a mess
Of the lives they were given by him upstairs (tech)
And threads they?re convinced aren?t actually theirs

What sound on earth could ever replace
friday night bumsex or gregs, it's ace!
Cos this, people reckon, and me included,
Is why Haikus were kindly invented

To calm us all down, stop us going mental
These are MN basic essentials
We are worth every advertising penny, we?re grinding your axes
You shit on our head, we'll puke in the taxis

Imagine a Britain without MN buccaneers
We?ll troll and bitch and end up in tears.
Make poverty history, take a survey!
Make poverty history, take a survey!

ohg od haye is beardy weirdy central

SexistDinner · 14/02/2010 19:36

OK OK. We are taking on board all the criticism of the way people are chosen to be invited to the party.

We have decided to hand out three golden ticket invitations to yer actual party to three Mumsnetters from the northern region and Wales.

One Mumsnetter from Buckinghamshire
One from Northamptonshire
One from Hay on Wye

All invitees must have their own teeth (and toothbrush) and no unspent ASBOs.

Oh and can you write a Haiku to explain why we should pick you.

Thanks.

You'll have to lure them with Iron Brew

SexistDinner · 14/02/2010 18:38

We've heard a couple of Mumsnetters from Sunderland are dropping out due to a dental emergency and a moonlight flitting. We feel it only fair to offer the gawping space to Scots Mumsnetters. So if any Scots are interested in squishing their dram-veined noses against the window of Google UK HQ, please let us know at MNHQ.

Central Belters need not apply.

Will join you all in the gutter with the bodily fluids

DarrellRivers · 14/02/2010 18:29

I knew it
You have a certain class
And a way of posting about things which always makes me laugh particularly when the rest of the world (well MN) is falling into chaos
'If you can keep your head when all about you Are losing theirs and blaming it on you; If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you, But make allowance for their doubting too; . . . If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster And treat those two impostors just the same . .'

That's you SD

I've also heard on the grapevine that there are various coaches being booked from the north and Wales?

If any folks know anything about this, can you please let someone at MNHQ know so we can alert the coach companies and distance ourselves from the vomit on the velour seats and the inevitable graffiti.

If anybody uses Mumsnet's name in a bit of in-travel graffiti ... eg Am I Being Unreasonable to Shit Myself On This Velour Seat En Route to the Mumsnet 10th Anniversary Party ... we will use the Libel laws to send you straight back to Rotherham.

I'm bringing some Smart Price picnic eggs and a bottle of vintage White Lightening, which I have been saving for a special occasion.
