We need your ideas on what's good for Mother's Day please

So, let's banish all this talk of Frozen Britain and concentrate on spring, and in particular Mothering Sunday (which is 14 March this year)

We're looking for recommendations of fabulous treats you'd like to receive or have done in the past- for Mother's Day. (but it could have been a birthday/Christmas present too iykwwm)

Treats, presents, spa ideas, nice days/lunches out with the kids.
You can be as specific as you like

Lie in until at least 10am, followed by a cup of tea a croissant and jam and a day out walking in Derbyshire. HTH.

hard to imagine spring!

I would like a day at a spa. (oh that would be bliss right now) not a chance.

meal out would be nice with dd and dh to a pub. dh never books in time. Perhaps I'll book it myself this year and tell them what we are doing!

just as long as neither he nor dd buy me another bloody frying pan!

The day to myself - Oh imagine the bliss of time to myself to do whatever, go wherever... As much as I love my family it would be nice to have a break

Spa vouchers with an offer to look after the DC whilst I indulge myself. A casual lunch out with the DC on Mothering Sunday would be great in theory, but hell on a platter in practice.

Now I am pretending I have received some vouchers and have angelic DC.

Afternoon tea at a posh hotel. Quite a few have a kids' afternoon tea menu if you wanted the whole family to go, if not you can get vouchers for 'future' use when I mum wanted to go with a friend or DH

Visit to Harlow Carr Gardens at Harrogate to see the early bulbs and flowers coming, followed by lunch overlooking the gardens in the nice warm cafe/restaurant.
