Please can we remove BD from our acronym list?

Of all the sticks to beat us with, this has got to be the worst...

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease, nobody actually uses it, do they?

I take your point, BellaBear, but it doesn't reflect the site as a whole (and is found a bit twee by the majority), so I don't see why it needs to be on the main list especially when people arelaughing-- at us

People DO use BD and AF on here - there are swathes of people on MN who only go on the conception boards and that is where they are used. I'm friends with people I met on the conception boards who just don't venture onto the rest of the site.

Well, at least they did use them three years ago when that was the only part of MN I went on.

A well-argued point Huw. As long as AF is locked away in a cupboard, I'd be quite happy with any alternative.

Although there could be posters who actually have an Aunt called Flo, so the misunderstanding could've happened many times already

well Tidey, you see, I may very well and very literally have'Got the painters in', for the hall, landing and staircase, or...maybe for my back passage (har har), but I am never, literally, 'On the blob', on any blob.

So to avoid aforementioned potential confusion, we should ditch GTPI and stick (metaphorically speaking) with OTB.

Just said how much I agree with you Huwedwards on the "I HATE MUMSNET" thread.

I never look at the TTC topic, but I can't really imagine it being used. It's so horribly twee.
