Although I suppose this current incarnation does remove the expectation that you might just possibly get taken to the post you clicked on, as you can't click on a post.

I'm really hoping it's an interim phase, a prelude to it working properly - if it isn't, and it isn't fixed before the weekend, I am going to LEAVE.

I go to threads I'm on and it says 'Talk results of search' and then has each thread I'm on on single lines with odd numbers of messages ie if there is a 3 page thread, it might say 7 messages.

Me neither, I only went on to see if the other issue had been rectified (clicking on a poster's name and being taken to 'topics')
