We've just done a new code release and there are a few issuettes - we'll work through them.

Do refresh your pages though - that gets rid of most of the problems (though not all).

Jesus, what the hell has happened? I COULD read the whole thread to find out but I think I'll just bugger off until this place is fixed. None of my pages start until after the 'Find Mumsnet on Facebook/Twitter' thingy. Too annoying.

I just checked and there is no big gap when you click on a thread/active topics etc on the iphone problem solved everyone needs to get an iphone

serenity - I've had your black squares problem before - I think it's something to do with the ads at the bottom of the page not scrolling properly. I've always found that refreshing the page gets rid of them, which is presumably what happens when you post.

in the mean time you can do a site search on google just put your search term with a space after the site: string. you can search by date and stuff with their advanced search, although i'm guessing searching by poster/forum will be trickier.

Ok, this is weird - I actually have this page twice - if I scroll right down past the ads at the bottom, there's a small black space and then I get the whole page again. I'm posting this in the second message box, so let's see if it works.

wondered where 'threads im on' had gone...thought i had lost all my threads....but they are wayyyyy down at the bottom...what a pain.....BTW refresh doesnt work.

Advanced Search is getting better - you can now see the threads on the results page. Clicking on them just takes you to the Topics page, but it's a start!

Oh and thank you for thinking of us iPhoners (though we're going to get all the blame now, aren't we )

As this thread is getting checked... I don't use pages, I just have a continuous page of posts. Every so often I get two big black squares smack bang in the middle of a post (they scroll with the rest of the page) The more posts there are the more it happens - if I could be arsed to count, I'd imagine it happens every set amount of posts. It's annoying because I can't read anything under them!

Whatever you've done to update MN now, hasn't fixed this, because I had it on this thread (disappears when I post for some reason)!

i was on classic classic, but i've just checked the customize options and it's got new highlighted.

and i use MS explorer 7.

yep i do that too - click into the topic from active convos.

(lg - i greatly enjoy the irony of mumsnetting using the sober scheme)
