Oh, I think I saw you. In fact, I think my DD was sitting next to yours for quite a while. Mine is a three year old who is very small for her age and has rather wispy slightly curly mousy blonde hair. She was wearing a black top and a purple/red/orange skirt. I was wearing jeans and a ratty old navy top and was Too Hot so probably quite shiny.

Horton I was way too shy to start striking up conversations! I was next to one of the craft tables at the back, with a pushchair with a baby in it, a blonde 2yo DD who is very big for her age and a person who could only be a granny I think DD was at the same table as posie parker but I was too shy to say hello!

Hello ladies. I lurked in there for a while, sipping the bubbly, and half considering getting one or two of the normal Gap tops, just so I could get a bag... but I didn't. Saw lots of you who I thought must be MNers [shy]. The Stella coats were lovely, but a tad expensive for kid's clothes (but they are designer I guess) I left about 5.45, I guess Stella didn't turn up then? The impression was given that she would be there, but the staff I asked didn't know anything about it.
And I didn't get a goody bag as I didn't have the kids with me. I did try though!
You all looked very glam I must say, didn't see anyone looking frazzled! And looks like the kiddies had fun -should have taken mine really. The food looked nice.
Loads of people were piling up the clothes to buy!! (to sell on eBay?!?).
And, yes, the two main pieces, pirate coat and tutu - nowhere to be seen.

But it was still fun. I liked it. I'd go again!

I agree Libra. Still it worked there were people spending sooo much money in those couple of hours.

Yes the flamingo is a bit of a hit for us too! I admit to making some purchases but only a couple of tops that were very much needed or that was the excuse to dh, besides they were the really dull polo necks but did justify that someone would probably buy it on ebay for twice the amount in about 5 minutes time if I didn't really like it!

We also hung out on the craft tables of the four there we were the right hand one by the food! Always by the food, muppet here forgot it was all veggie, but actually the mini mushroom burgers were quite scrummy!

Gah, didn't spot anyone and am jealous of those who managed to identify a fellow MNer. I also noticed that several people had brought their mums or I might have risked trying to ID ImSoNotTelling!

We just hung out at the craft tables mainly. DD had an absolute ball and I ate a lot of food. DD really loves her flamingo, too.

Damn, couldn't resist telling 2 friends and my mum that I was going to this and now they'll be texting me asking what Stella is like etc and she wasn't even there at all (so can't even use the lateness excuse). Oh well!

At least the dc's got their balloons (dd very excited and was exceptionally good yesterday everytime I reminded her that she was going to a party and would get a ballon )

Skiving I was there right at the beginning and she wasn't there either. I was rather unfashionably early as I'd had enough of Harrods and turfed myself out.

at Norma (we're on first name terms now see ) She was also lovely and I have grand plans for my dc's to follow in her ds's footsteps (he was great, running round and getting drinks, food etc )

She recognised my skirt and I then clung to her chatted for a while and went back to being a wallflower afterwards. Well, when my children let me (they had a blast once they had gotten over the shyness!)

Didn't see Stella either, but then we arrived quite (fashionably?) late after I cocked up had some minor issues with the map reading and transport logistics. Maybe she was only there at the beginning?

I had DD (9) with me and baby in sling. Baby had pink tights on and legs hanging out of sling, her lovely party (Boden ) dress was invisible.

We got there late and the baby pooed on me.

Came away with goodie bags and nearly bought a Stella baby outfit in sheer desperation (only had a baby nightie in bag as 'spares' because I emptied bag before we left, dur)
