To the Powers that Be: WTF is BABY DANCING doing as a MN Acronym?

I have never in my many years here EVER, I tell ya, EVER encountered ANY poster using the term baby dancing.

WHY is this yucky term included in the acronym list?

Are you preparing for the DM onslaught?
Is it a remain after the aprils fools joke about teaming up with Netmums?

well, i HATE the phrase "baby dancing" and Auntie Flo.

I dont baby dance, i have sex in the hope of making a baby (and sometimes just for fun - don't tell anyone though)

and my period has never told me that im skin and bones and given me a pound, just like my auntie has never made me bleed and psychotic, with a craving for chocolate.

Once you are involved with 'the specialist' you have to answer so many medical words about intercourse and menstrual cycles, a bit of bd comes as light relief, perhaps?

Flamingo, I think it is because that is something your body does on its own accord entirely (if you are lucky), shagging requires not just your own participation but somebody elses too!

KingCanute, I might have just read your name wrong since took on this name. I ALWAYS thought you were KingCanuteAndI, and I was always amused by the duality of your name. Like me, I am now in plural.

They are perfectly simple, clear words.

imo, if you are embarrassed to say the word sex, you are too immature to be having it!!

Doesn't it cover it if you say "We are ttc atm", do you really need to be so detailed to say "Right I am orf, going to do some baby dancing with my partner" Really no need to use this acronym at all!

BD doesn't get used on the wider MN, but I gather that it does on the Conception threads. The important thing, though, is that there isn't a "" pandemic.

BD has been around on MN for years. Nothing wrong with it (tho it is perhaps a little twee). Just indicates carnal knowledge for the express purpose of conception, rather than for fun or other reasons.
