Threads that should be banned. What's the point in them apart from annoying others? What purpose do they serve? Ban them!!

I highlighted ALL the topics and moved them to hidden and then went through them all cherry picking the ones that didn't give me a bit of a tic. Oh it was so cleansing and cathartic.

The only thing I want to hide are those incredibly irritating ante-natal things called stuff like 'The one where our snuffly wuffly hunks of love blink!!!!!! [October 1993]'.

I accept that some people enjoy them however and more to the point, have no idea how to hide them,

fgs there are chickens and horses and baby ling swap topics but fruit puddings are just all lumped into food or recipes.

If you don't want to read it you can hide it.

OMG, just looked at the competitions topic. There were dozens of dolphin threads. What an absolute nightmare. How on earth are they going to pick a winner? And how are they going to be sure that only one person suggested the winner? They will have to choose something strange like "Weetabix".

Did not read the shy people one, because I don't bother opening that kind of thread unless I have a spare couple of hours ten minutes to read them.

The problem is that some people are extremely easily upset and would be requesting threads be banned left right and centre. Others are not bothered and merrily join in the ruckus.

See this is what happens when you have 80% of thread topics hidden, strange blue-peter esque happenigs occur and I am quite oblivious.

I'll add "threads that complain about what other people are posting" to that list.

What are these dolphin name threads of which you speak? I have baby names hidden, should I unhide it? Why are people naming dolphins? Do people have their own personal private dolphins?
