Threads that should be banned. What's the point in them apart from annoying others? What purpose do they serve? Ban them!!

Threads relating to people on benefits/"poor people"

Racist threads

Sexist threads

Threads relating to others size/height

More bloody dolphin name threads.

Is it possible?? They do nothing but irritate people. Some clarity and set rules on here would be helpful, everyone is entitled to start threads but when they are started purly to annoy/upset then this is wrong.

The other thing is, if these threads were banned then posters like Pagwatch would not get advice about something totally irrelevant to the thread (how to cut up apples so that they do not go brown).

And they make me feel clever in comparison.

can I just nominate SAHM vs WOHM to the list of threads that should be banned were we not incredibly supportive of argument and discussion as a means to broaden the mind and combat prejudice.

I find it helps me to look at some ofthose threads and note the posters who are there to provide the fuckwit contravertial opinion which breeds discussion.

I also think that getting wound up is self defeating. It just makes the wankers contravertial posters believe that they are significant. And often these saddos contravertial posters are just a bit attention seeking and pathetic.

I find it really difficult to come out with sensible answers most of the time. The temptation to write 'don't be so bloody stupid' is a strong one but go to the dark side I must not. Darn!

Cake can be classed as pudding. Ds classes chocolate as pudding, we have regular arguments discussions about this.

Can I put in a bid for 'am I pregnant' threads? There should be a pop up which says 'have you done a test? If not, please go and do one before posting asinine comments on bloating, weird cramps etc.'

I quite like the DM threads though, they give me a chance to appear intelligent

Lots of extremely fluffy (no pun intended, OP) names on there. Names like Sparkle and Luna with a high reliance on Greek mythology and apostrophes.

We should campaign for a fruit pudding topic. Should that include custard or do we need a Custard, Ice cream and Choc sauce topic too?
