I haven't been able to get into MN for an hour and 40 mins (and counting). Anyone else had problems?

Rusty - well, I'm swinging between my proper-for-publication thing, which is still at the antagonistic-but-attracted stage, and two fanfics - one DW one that I can't get right, and one for Ashes to Ashes in which I'm practising kissing scenes

Other people work/clean/feed their children while MN is down. I become Jackie Collins.

It may have been worth doing without MN for an hour or so if so....

I have had loads of short periods of MN unavailability as well as the two big ones. Ever since the new design went live it has been dropping periodically. And lots of periods of almost unusable slowness.

So any word from HQ about what is going on? I know all sites have down time, but this is looking more like gremlins than down time isn't it?

I had to do some paperwork this afternoon. I was most upset, but most productive.

Don't really want it happening often but tbh, it was good to get something other than MN done on the computer.

Very annoying when you have some MN planned out.

All this playing with the dc's is shocking! It sounds like Netmums.

Oh so not just me then? I thought I was having a Firefox problem of some sort. I've had loads of page load errors with mn just lately, anyone else? I thought it was just me, have been badgering dh to fix the laptop.

I tided ds's bedroom and got rid of a load of tat in the process.

Phew thought for a minute DH has rigged the computer so I couldn't get on.

Maybe I need to take a break for a couple of weeks as I started getting quite stressed!!!!!

I had problems all yesterday afternoon and I was very cross because I'd just posted a load of tripe very thoughtful and insightful post and couldn't be bothered to type it all over again.

And then just now when I logged on there were only five topics in the 'last 15 minutes' category. I thought everyone was out having an MN party without me......
