If we are excluding Moldies, would it not be best to also veto the 'Daughters of Mediocrity'? We can't have one rule for one group can we?

So, is there anyone who is not a Moldie or DoM and who is willing to go on TV?

Well Zen, they kept banging on about how Mumsnet wasn't the same, how it had changed, how newbies were ruining it for all of them, then they started to disappear one by one.

I'm sure that lot of moldies still post on here regularly Rhubarb. They probably haven't 'outed' themselves for fear of venom in future posts to them.

I would rather see a semi-regular oldie on TV than a regular poster of one month. Nothing against the new posters BTW, just that an older poster would have more to say about how it affected their experience of being a parent.

So what you're saying is that Mumsnet isn't Mumsnet without Mouldies? That's feeding their fragile egos is it not?

KerryMumbles and Custy would be good! So would lulumama - she's done a lot for Mumsnet.

I don't see the two sites as mutually exclusive. I use other sites as well as Mumsnet and I'm sure 99% of other posters do as well. Some of the sites I use are invitation only and closed to outsiders. From what I understand, the moldies site wasn't created as a replacement for MN, more an extra add-on where they could post more personal stuff that wouldn't be accessible by the whole internet. Or have I got that wrong?

Lulamama and Squonk would be a good twosome on Phil and Fern's sofa.

I'm sorry, but to me, a lot of the Moldies ARE Mumsnet, whether they post as frequently as they used to or not. I do think that some people need to let this whole Moldies issue go - it's corrosive and it's making people bitter, which is sad.

Well since the show is all about the benefits of using Mumsnet, it would be nice to have people on there who actually still use Mumsnet, would it not?

I've not seen that many Mouldies who post here regularly and still post over there. I am prepared to be proven wrong, but some of the names on this thread I've hardly seen post at all since the whole thing kicked off.

How could they extol the virtues of Mumsnet when they thought it was so flawed they'd make their own site?
And how can they say they only made that site for privacy reasons when they are more than happy to reveal their rl selves to millions of This Morning viewers?

It wouldn't be a true representation of Mumsnet I don't think. My opinion, that's all.

Lovely to see so many old faces on here! I've not heard from lots of posters since, ooooh, before Christmas?

How ironic would it be to have a mouldy go on talking about how great mumsnet is, what it means to them and how there is no other site quite like it? I'd like to see that!

I'm sure there are lots of lovely posters who really would fit the bill, but I'd like to see someone who still posts on Mumsnet. A lot of mouldies no doubt do have a lot to give to Mumsnet, but unfortunately Mumsnet no longer benefits from their advice as they hardly post here anymore.

Perhaps it should be for regular posters?

Did you find having a sis with Sn 'heled' in temrs of process etc Fio? Because my friends son jhas just developed quite severe epilepsy and she says having a sister with spina bifida makes it ahrder as she doesn't feel her ds deserves help as he isn't 'as# needy.

Whereas It seems to me if she delays applying for things like DLA etc she is risking losing her home (jhe's having drop attacks so has to stay close) and wondered if there was a subtle way of trying to persuade hre to start accepting the dx means he ahs SN?
