Fair enough PPH - was just my take on it. BUt I do think that when anyone accuses anyone else of being a troll or question credentials it can be bloody hurtful particularly if you are wrong.

But I loathe the whole "troll, troll, trip, trap" stuff that goes on because I think it says more about the trollhunter than the troll.

At our Church the Deacon more or less said Mass whilst the Priest took a snooze! He came on for the Gospel and then to bless the bread the wine, but that was about it!

You'd have been hard pushed to tell who was priest and who was deacon! They even approached my dh to ask him about becoming a Deacon - I can still see his pleading eyes staring at me from over their shoulders as I walked away laughing!

OK I know why I misunderstood the role of her supervision. When there was the big fuss about the Sindie she was concerned that her supervisor would see the posts and think it was her, so she rang them and talked about it iirc. She said I think they knew her posting name.

I can see the type of supervision wannabe describes would be entirely normal for someone in a counselling role. I came away (from revs posts) with the idea that there was a supervisor of some sort with whom she was discussing her posts. But I can see now it was just some posts, those on the worship threads I guess.

I guess that does make it more important (for her sake) to separate out 'work' opinions from more general personal ones.

CZ, I am not attacking anyone. It would have shown a greater depth of humanity imvho, if PPH had said, "whilst I have not at any point harrassed or stalked poster X, I feel it is not an appropriate thing for anyone to do."

I DO care about being accused of an orchestrated campaign of harrassment (I posted on 2 threads, count 'em) and of infiltrating her private life (WTF?). The latter accusation is appalling and wrong.

But yeah, I did think it would be her vicar. In the catholic church the Deacon is usually managed by their Parish Priest I think.

Of course I think it is wrong for someone to harrass a poster in real life! I am a lawyer. Apart from anything else it is illegal (if we are talking about the legal definition of harrassment).
Why do you think I am SO ANGRY about being accused of it myself?
However I have no idea whether anyone has tried to harrass Rev in real life. All I know is that MN have had complaints about her, and have asked Rev to verify herself. What else has happened? I don't know - do you?
