why on earth shouldn't rev use "rev" in her name whteher she is or not? I'm not actually a Kewcumber.

Questioning whether she is really a rev or not is perfectly reasonable even if its not phrased very politely and I don't think MN should be banning anyone for that.

Anyone who who carried on past that - tbh even asking MN to prove who a poster is, is ridiculous (I don;t ask anyone on the adoption thredas to prove they have adopted - if their view is interesting I read and respond to it). If you can't take peoples contribution on face value without them having to prove a set of credentials to you despite people saying they have actually met the poster in question starts making the questioners look a bit deranged and they shoot themsselves in the foot.

Incursion into offline life is not on and IMVHO should result in poster being banned.

well yes although technically a deacon is a priest in the sense of ordained into the ministry, but not ordained into the priesthood per se so is unable to consecrate or give absolution

I was careful to say that I thought it was the conjunction of several posts by several posters over a prolonged period that constituted harrassment. So I would be very disappointed if any of my posts mentioning PPH as one of the posters who sought to undermine Rev were deleted.

PPH made posts that were judged worthy of being deleted. So it would be odd to delete posts more-or-less claiming that she made personal attacks..

It does seemlike MN is giving in to the bullies on here.
They discouraged discussion of moldies when for some people it was an important issue, now they are asking rev not to use her title as the same old bullies have decided to intimidate her.

I have said openly that I thought she was genuine( rev) and that I enjoyed her posts and wordly experiences.
And as I never frequented spiritual/prayer threads ( being a heathen child) I thought Rev actually alluded to rev as in revving a motorcycle or car and assumed she was a black leather jacket wearer ( with studs), staffordshire-pitbull x dog owner and the driver of a souped up Volvo T5.
So that moldie outing thread came to one good thing.
