And they kept coming back the pub, saying 'oh get over it' we cant tell you where the golf club is, cos we dont know ourselves, they shove us in the back of a big wine van and blindfold us, thats how we get there

They've been asked Daddyj, they won't. They also won't promise not to use Mumsnet as a recruiting ground.

They say it's out of their hands, them not being the select committee, but nor will they say who is.

So there is no compromise to be reached, hence the ongoing argument 2 weeks later.

Stalemate.

oh, i see the analogy rhuby. i would have gone nuclear like custy.

she's given a lot of her time to set up christmas meetups for all. surely people she's rowed with and who she's rarely seen eye to eye with have attended the dos but afaik, she's arranged those unconditionally. then to be kicked in the arse teeth like that must hurt.

lol pag...I think I might be a bit tooo objective about my poor dh..he definitely looks like that Biker (who says, don't tell my boss, I am a nurse) in weird science ....even he says he does...so, I suppose that is o.k.
