BIWI - it wasn't aimed at you although in fairness your post triggered off a memory of the literally hundreds of posts I must've read about missing people - most of whom are still here.

I'm really glad this is petering out. Wasn't the press coverage just totally farcical?

i'd be thrilled if MNHQ made some of it register only Aitch. it would mean something good came out of Moldgate after all.

TBH I think the majority of MNetters have no opinions either way.

Thousands of posts but by a really small proportion of MNetters.

i really hope so, ruty.

i bet that MNHQ are pedalling hard to get something going that would allow sections to be un-googleable, though. ime they're pretty responsive to what MNers want. that may solve all of our problems.

it was a thread boco posted once, iorek, you were deffo around then i'm sure. about a birthday table at her wee girl's school that was arranged in such a way that one girl child would be left alone to eat her packed lunch while watching the other three girls in the class feast at a birthday table. (it has no relationship whatsoever to moldies before someone tries to crowbar that in ).

hunkr i think that's unfair. the majority of Mners have said they have missed certain posters and now feel hurt they reaise they have been elsewhere. Theu have also said Moldies shouldn't leave here. Only a few have said 'Oh you Moldies bugger off'

I hope there isn't a continual drip drip of people being invited and then leaving mn to go to moldies. Names would just disappear after another round of invites, be a bit bleak.

Enough of the handwringing and feeling left out - lots of moldies still post on MN - most of the good eggs still here - very few have actually announced that they are deregging - they are just different types of fora
