This is the same as having a group conversation on MSN and deliberately not inviting someone, a situation I have been in and didn't like at the time.

The problem I have is that I find myself thinking about particular posters that I've admired, and whose opinions I've valued and being completely astonished that they would be involved in this for more than the time it took to think "Hang on a minute, this way of finding new members completely stinks". And that applies to the poll, and the right of veto. If Onebat and MP could see that, why couldn't they all?

And even if they couldn't see that, why haven't all the "administrative oversights" been invited to join once the oversight was pointed out?

I thought i did the right thing in ignoring the little things - close to the knuckle stuff - then the outragous comment on the other thread and the times when its you not i, that has attached my name to posts ( you were often directing at rhubarb), the response to the apology i get is ambiguously worded its there for all to see - to interpret for good or ...whatever ( being ambiguous)- truly, I tried to do the right thing vvq. word it, dress it up any way you want. There have been insinuations, my name has been mentioned by you out of nowhere at least twice - but becuase i didn't want a very old advisary to use this as a battleground i have tried my utmost to be pleasant. i never even mentioned the apology i didn't get.

now they are mentioned and words will ensue, your mates will come on, my mates will come on and it will all turn to shit - which was why i was trying to be nice about the whole thing

You appear to have a problem with my (late) acknowledging your and rhubarb's responses to my posts, and acceptance of apologies in the manner in which they were proffered...ie:

"I hope my apologies will be graciously accepted by all. "

I'm not sure why. Perhaps it's because you are always looking to pick holes in my posts maybe? I dunno. And you said you apologised if I felt hurt. I did. I accepted your apology. What gives now? Does my vernacular and manners grieve you somehow? I felt it rude not to acknowledge that I'd seen your posts. Perhaps that's not how you do things and I've personally inadvertently offended you. Again. I will most definitely be changing my name back. Clearly you cannot take my posts at face value in the manner at which I have endeavoured to take yours.
