Well hopefully the title says it all. There's been a suggestion, and we agree, that as we did with Baby P and the Mc Canns we just have one thread where anyone who feels they still have anything to add on this subject can post and those who'd rather move on can hide it away.

It feels strange to put this thread in site stuff as we are definitely not wanting to encourage further discussion of Moldies (we have presents to wrap too you know ) but we weren't sure where else to put it.

We will delete any new Moldies threads that are started, so please feel free to report them in case we miss any (what with wrapping the presents and all...)

And if you do want to carry on the discussion please remember that Mumsnet's here to make everyone's lives easier and not the reverse, and that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all mumsnetters past, present and future

I misread this and thought that people were gilding courgettes. I really couldn't imagine why anyone would be gilding courgettes other than as table decorations.

ds1 doesnt get social interactions so I have taught him,even if he doesn't understand why someone is upset, that 'I am sorry you are hurt' is a wonderful phrase

I didn;t teach. I did one to one interviews with the men to discuss their long terms plans and how they could work towards achieving their goals whilst inside. I worked one to one thoughout; you get sed to it.

I am signing off as - oover and aboove the rotting freakin' celebration comestibles - I have NINE HOURS of cooking/wrapping cleaning to catch up with. Tonight. but can't bcs dd is ill and waking up screaming. I am griddling courgettes right now, and the smoke alarm is.. well, alarmed.

I admire you Wilf, but having been there and argued it through, I can't quite swallow the no choice argument. And in any case, don't we teach our kids that if they hurt someone even by accident, they must apologize without reservation?
