I've invested in a handy wrist-worn dispenser of pre-cut tape pieces. I pretend I'm Helen Mirren. It's a tough job, but someone's got to do it. And I at least have the necessary toolage.

I'm so confused over the whole stocking palaver. We, as kids, got a pillow case. And that was it. Nothing from my parents, all came in a pillow case. I tried teh same with my eldest and got accused of being mean for not buying her any presents. Lesson learnt - get some credit. But made teh mistake of buying stockings as decoration which she purloined and expects filled again! Lesson not learnt.

I don't wrap stocking presents as I'm v v lazy indeed and it seems like a lot of effort.

dontcallmehon - yes, it can be daunting at first but once you have jumped in once and survived it gets to be second nature.

Oh yes hunker, I take care to buy special FC wrapping paper. I squawked at DP last year for wrapping an FC gift in non-FC paper. He thought I was completely barmy.

We don;t have stockings no no idea if wrapped or not. I hae wraped all of DDs pressies thouh inc the smaller ones. They are under the tree. Just need to put the darn digital piano surround together it si so heavy and I have to get it upstairs yet!

Stocking presents definitely don't need to be wrapped. Most definitely. Final word. I'm at the stage of wondering if christmas presents need to be wrapped.
