I apologise for any offence I caused. I truly cannot remember what I said in my posts but I remember arguing vociferously about how many t's there were in twiglet. I had to google it this morning to find out.

You're not stupid, don't pretend to be, you can see which posts cause the diffciulties and which don't.

People want you to stay, they want Aitch to stay, they also want to be upset about Moldies, if you can live with that without the bitterness descende to by some moldies then stick around. But you will have to live with/overlook some upset and fallout from the whole thing. You're choice I'd say.

This has gone on now for 10 days. Yes, 10 days. 10 days when you could have been doing something useful (I include myself in that as well)

Shall I out this whole sorry charade, which has led to some pretty vile postings from BOTH sides of the argument, as well as people being attacked personally, into perspective for you?

On Tuesday last week, my friend and colleague died, leaving behind 3 children, one of which is a 7 week old baby. A seven week old baby who will never, ever know her daddy. Christmas will be forever ruined for that family, it will always bring the anniversary of his sudden and untimely death.

We are spending our days bickering about and internet forum, this argument is spilling over into the fucking papers, fgs, which is just showing the whole thing up to be fucking ridiculous, especially when the articles (eg on the front of the Independent on Sunday) are juxtaposed with images of children dying in the Gaza attacks.

I feel like I have played a part in this whole thing as yes, I am a Moldie member. I have probably alienated myself from this board because of this alone. I would like to say that I am truly sorry for any upset this has caused to folk, both moldies and non-moldies.

But just remember one thing, people on MN and elsewhere are going through some REAL shit right now, while you are all here arguing the toss under pseudonyms.

To those who still don't know - moldies were handpicked (like Hearsay.) What's left is Liberty X.

I think some moldies have only posted on these threads and haven't posted accross the rest of the boards for quite some time. Hence when they post on these threads in a 'you are all really sad' tone it is likely they will get told to bugger off.

this thread just moves too fast and there were times when i wanted to ask stuff but it had calmed down and i didn't want to ignite it.

i think it would be helpful to have a thread that explains it so people can get up to speed

i think it would be good to discuss the media coverage

i think threads develop their own tone - some are upset, some are bored, some are joky - throwing them all together results in hurt sometimes.

i think that bunching it all together doesn't work.

Some appear to view any posting by Moldies as stirring though, or concerted and planned "attacks" - it's an odd feeling, really.

I think that was because he had read about Morningpaper's bowel movements in another Moldies thread. I must admit I cried too

quattro, there have, i'm sure i've seen a few 'piss off back to moldies, then' etc. and i'm not getting worked up, in fact i'm bfing dd2 so if anything i'm getting let-down.

tbh i'm really sad about this, MN is a great place, i don't know what i'd have done withouth the support i got when dd2 came early. i was so frightened, pals phoning me to tell me what everyone was saying really, really helped. this is like being in the middle of a civil war.

oh right.....life is to short....but I suppose it could be upsetting to some...
