Well hopefully the title says it all. There's been a suggestion, and we agree, that as we did with Baby P and the Mc Canns we just have one thread where anyone who feels they still have anything to add on this subject can post and those who'd rather move on can hide it away.

It feels strange to put this thread in site stuff as we are definitely not wanting to encourage further discussion of Moldies (we have presents to wrap too you know ) but we weren't sure where else to put it.

We will delete any new Moldies threads that are started, so please feel free to report them in case we miss any (what with wrapping the presents and all...)

And if you do want to carry on the discussion please remember that Mumsnet's here to make everyone's lives easier and not the reverse, and that Christmas is a time of goodwill to all mumsnetters past, present and future

Thanks,
MNHQ

eee, sausage and nuts.

onebatmotherofgoditschilly · 29/12/2008 23:20

Gosh, let me admire your rr's too, Threadie. Laarvely. Just as I imagined.

Bloody hell, Rev, I'm astonished by the prescience of your friendship essay, and am thinking about it properly.

I think your exhortation to just 'be around' is brill.

lou33 · 29/12/2008 23:20

i forgot to buy nuts this xmas

holidaywonk · 29/12/2008 23:19

Yes, how's the satanism going then, winestein?

catinthehat1 · 29/12/2008 23:18

actually I can

catinthehat1 · 29/12/2008 23:17

Have a brazil nut as well, no honestly, I can't eat them all single handed

lou33 · 29/12/2008 23:17

i like sausage, i will have it

NorthernLurker · 29/12/2008 23:16

Is anybody going to eat this sausage or am I just standing here like a lemon?

IorekByrnison · 29/12/2008 23:16

Christ, not another polar bear.

Congratulations on discharging your Christmas obligations with such aplomb, ruty. I am also finding it rather hard to keep up, but haven't done anything as clever as that today. Thanks by the way for your agnostic recommendations way back before Christmas.

Bocca - I wouldn't dream of demeaning the rev's work by recommending it for MWankies, but I shall read it - thanks for the link.

winestein · 29/12/2008 23:14

Bocco.. thanks for that link, and thanks rev. Whilst Christianity as an existence is not my way of life, I love the sentiment.

ruty · 29/12/2008 23:05

i cooked for nine today, played charades and gave my nephews and nieces great wads of cash in envelopes [well a tenner each, i'm a bit behind on all this wii games stuff] I come back for a quick check up tonight and find myself completely out of the loop. It is like coming into an episode of Lost three quarters of the way through. And Mr Just About is the weird invisible polar bear thingy.

Threadworm · 29/12/2008 23:05

Yes, I've had some work done on my rr's

winestein · 29/12/2008 23:05

Lol Thread...

BoccaDellaVerita · 29/12/2008 23:04

IorekByrnison - As the first essay on the nature of relations on the internet, may I nominate this one by the Rev (which seems even more apposite now than when it was first written)? A quick scan reveals no mention of Bentham or Nietzsche (nor of facial hair) but there is St Anselm.

IorekByrnison · 29/12/2008 23:03

Hurrah! lol at you all. You're all in.

Hello Threadworm - you are looking very svelte. Or sounding very RP.

NorthernLurker · 29/12/2008 23:02

Oh don't bring up episiotomies! It's a sore subject round here you know!

Now who's for a large and strangely steaming tinned sausage?

SwedesInADirtyMacAndSunglasses · 29/12/2008 23:01

LOL at Threadworm

SwedesInADirtyMacAndSunglasses · 29/12/2008 23:00

Get him to write an essay on superegos and episiotomies.

Threadworm · 29/12/2008 22:58

Can you be in both spin-off boards -- i.e. a mouldy wanker (like the syphilitic Nietzsche)?

winestein · 29/12/2008 22:57

Ahhhh.. Doodle!

winestein · 29/12/2008 22:56

A casual stroll through the lunatic asylum shows that faith does not prove anything.

Am I in, or wot?

Feck... am usually ok with the use of apostrophe'ses's'. I mean, only the other day did I buy a kilo of brussel's sprout's for goodness' sake.

However, I am a Wanker. I am in that one, too?

[another of my heroines remembers me. Am shining with light and fuzzies ]

lovecat · 29/12/2008 22:55

Iorek, can I get DH to write my essay? He's got a degree in arguing philosophy and could probably name all beards going. But then he'd want to bang on about superegos and epistomology (don't ask me what it means)for hours on end and I might start crying...

Doodle2U · 29/12/2008 22:52

Wienstein does a good line in traffic management and stuff IIRC?

NorthernLurker · 29/12/2008 22:50

'although it's rather skanky' that should be
