Well there were a couple of people who seemed to be pretty upset they wern't paid back.

everyone is entitled to their opinion on posters, some vocalise it, others don't. I think that in cases where posters (real or otherwise) are using a lot of their time and emotion over and over then MNHQ needs to send an email that simply says "please be aware that people are not always who they make out to be when they are online. We have noticed you are supporting and just wanted to send you a reminder, there is no need to be suspicious" (or something like that)

sending money or gifts is pretty obvious that you should only do it if you know and trust the poster. giving your emotions to someone is often hard to take a step back from if you are involved deeply

NO, SORRY caps lock is doing funny things.

There was a birthday appeal organised by her friend that was completely separate and was above board.

I had visited TWR, i sometimes work in an office a few miles from her so dropped in for a cuppa. We also spoke on the phone a few times.

Other people had contributed to her separately off their own backs and that was up to them.
So some didn't receive money back but all who contributed to the phone bill appeal were paid back as far as i am aware. She had stated on that appeal thread that she would pay everyone back for the phone bill.

There was no request for her to pay anything else back.

I do think she gets bashed a bit. Nobody was forced to help her.
