Can we have a Wanker's Corner?

Hello.

It's been noted in the past that there are some pretentious wankers amongst us who like to discuss some general subjects (eg.Porn, Religion) in a fairly, erm.. academic manner, and that this sometimes seems to intimidate and/or infuriate other posters.

There doesn't seem to be an easy solution to this problem: there's no doubt that people really do feel intimidated and that it might prevent them from posting on a subject that concerns them. It also must feel hijack-y at times.

At the same time, it's hard for the Wanker's to be told that they mustn't post anything that might intimidate.

Would it be possible to have a special place, with very hard chairs to keep us awake, that we may call our own?

No! I think Klaus Kinski represents a 'type' of German which is, for example, quite upfront about it's scat fetish.

In real life I only go for Germans who sprint at medium pace for the sunbeds. Hence, I've ended up neither next to bogs nor next to the glistening ocean; Welcome to Harpenden please drive carefully.

And when did Harpenden get sea? You're overselling it darling.

Just like my estate agent: "must be viewed early to avoid disappointment"...

Actually they use such wide-angle lenses that potential buyers are more likely to be disappointed when they view the real, bijou reality.

I don't know what to say about your interpretation of "go for".

I'm still laughing about "glitter factor". I think your estate agent should be nominated for wanker of the week.

Actually, the glitter factor guy was rather sweet. Entirely predictably he had a chalk-stripe suit on, but he loved my house so I love him.

Yes Swedes that's all very clever sounding, but Habbibu was surely referring to onebat's overuse of the emoticon as a phonological simulator in a written context.
