Morning all,
I'm just penning the foreward of our Toddlers book and want to try and give a taste of Mumsnet in all its glory. I was thinking that a good way to do that using the best/funniest/most bizarre thread titles. I've got a brain like a sieve though and can't remember any - can you help? (Please!)

this one is a recent addition

No not chapter titles - though we could have used them now you mention it - more inspiration for the back cover and foreword. Cheers think we're there now.

Wooo hooooo one of mine is on the list....shame it is one of the non-printable ones....

harpomarx · 23/06/2008 22:37

This one tickled me recently 'Am I being unreasonable?: To think that geese are not for kicking?'

also remember something about pooing on the telephone (no sniggering at the back) and peeing in your Spanx.

NormaStanleyFletcher · 23/06/2008 22:37

There was a great one recently about what your day would have been like if you had said yes instead of no to your toddler - can't find it though, and the title may not have been stunning...

JustineMumsnet · 23/06/2008 22:35

Any more specifically toddler related ones anyone can think of?

Rivers of sweetcorn.

What's that pate?, oh no a cube of poo!

Can't remember the thread titles though, the titles may have been incredibly dull.

I quite like the current one about the chinese policewoman and breastfeeding the orphaned babies, although I know its not funny, its a title that just makes you want to have a look. Not often you see all those words together in a short sentence.

how do you get a chicken out of a DVD player.....killer

JustineMumsnet · 23/06/2008 19:08

That's quite enough fidgeting at the back!

Yes good thread titles is what I was after in this case but it's never a trial to waste an afternoon on some good threads.

good thread

and

good thread title

just thought i'd point that out

good

as you were

JustineMumsnet · 23/06/2008 18:57

I probably would have Rusty but am hoping Bloomsbury will give it the once over...

Thanks for these - all good stuff.

Justine - I do hope you're not going to spell it 'foreward'....

StrictMachine · 23/06/2008 18:34

Cod, don't be so predictably yawnsome
Is that an implicit double? Dunno.

Just don't.
