Sleeping Environment Survey

We've been asked to find out a bit more about your attitude to sleep and your child's sleeping environment.

The survey is open to anyone in the UK with at least one child aged under 4.

Everyone who takes part in survey will be entered into a prize draw where 1 respondent will win £150 of vouchers for bebeco and 2 runners up will each receive £50 of vouchers for bebeco

Agree about number of rooms ThingOne - "Shall I put the baby in the east wing or the west wing, or perhaps we could convert the billiards room?"

Agree - crap survey - no option for "put baby in my bed" and didn't have a nursery. And as for choice of room once they are on their own how many spare rooms do most houses have?
As for the "what difference" questions a "not applicable to me" would have helped! I didn't have "problems" in most of these areas and was happy with how things were. Why assume people want time away from a small baby? A screaming toddler (I am currently hiding from one) is a different matter ...

Too confusing.

Is temperature more importance than brightness? Well it depends - would I put my daughter in a slightly warmer room with curtains or a slightly cooler room with no curtains? Is dust more important than noise - well couldn't I just give the room a good dust?

Oh, and I love the way nobody cares where you live if you're in Scotland (or anywhere except England). East Lothian, Perth and Kinross, Highland - nobody cares.

I couldn't answer it, some of the questions weren't applicable to me and some didn't have an answer that I wanted to give. Sorry.

CaptainKarvol at the bottom when you've done all the survey questions there's a button to press that takes you to the bit where you fill in your email address, age of your child/ren and where you live. If you did that you're entered. If you didn't you need to do it again - hth

how do you get entered into a prize draw then? I wasn't asked for an email / any identifying details at all. What are they going to do?

Indeed, a crap survey. It had the assumption that even green parents wouldn't have considered washable nappies.

As for "planning the baby's sleeping environment"? we just put the baby into the bed. it wasn't that much of a plan.

Planning your baby's sleeping environment basically meant moving the bedside drawers against the mattress so that it wouldn't fall out of my side of the bed...

bump - personally I think you can prove any bloody thing with surveys and very few are well written.

Oh and 'chemical free skincare' that's when you put breastmilk in your baby's eye when they have an infection I think

"What factors were important in planning your baby's sleeping environment?"
nothing about co-sleeping / having baby close (we chose drop side crib next to our bed for that purpose.)

I also raised an eyebrow at the concept of 'chemical free skincare'. Does that mean you can't use H2O (water) on your baby's skin? What exactly do you use, then?
