What is going on with the site tonight

I and a couple of others are having trouble posting.we can write post ok then its taking ages to actually go.Anyone else having this problem ?

still v v slow this morning. Yawn... Do you do an upload on a Thurs eve or something?

Usually the slowness is caused by the ads, as you know.

The eagle-eyed among you may have noticed a pattern to the other reason for the slow down. And the good news is, we're on it...

I double posted as well your not alone !! it keeps on doing this and in the begining i too thought it was my comp.

I don't turn ads off as that's how MN funds itself, but agree the speed has been all over the shop tonight. Slow, then fine, then seasons change while I refresh a thread...

the little icon at the bottom of the screen keeps saying "done, but with errors on page" here.
