Yeah, back again. It's true that all the important, salient stuff has been said & resaid & then, for good measure, said again.

I can't believe that no-one had a go at me!

Actually the main reason why I'm adding yet another post to this overweight thread is that I feel I must (God help me!) defend Cod. She is what the French call "deuxième degrée" - ironic & apparent flippancy with a strong dose of self-mockery, high intelligence & a marvellous sense of humour.

You can send me a cheque through the post, Cod.

FGS. cant all the new angry ones just read the thread, all the serious bits, where everyone was actually being thoughtful. I think it's all been said, which is why it's run it's course and people are larking aobut - nothing wrong with that.

Please, read beros last post about being sick of called heartless and uncaring because of being concerned about those threads, it's valid and important, the only ones being heartless are the ones wilfully ignoring everyone else and just ranting the same line.

yes I have Cod, but clearly you and I have different opinions about the helpfulness of this sort of thread, I am close to a couple of people who are going through tough times and considering suicide. So kind of find it hard to see the funny side in this thread.

some people have been trying to discuss this issue about what should or could be done, but everytime there's an attempt and a good discussion going, someone comes on AGAIN and states that anything other than what's going on now means you are callous and heartless.
