I do worry that these threads are not the best thing for the OPs. I think MNHQ ought to take some specialist advice about whether it might not be better to pull them and send the OP a message worded by a mental health professional advising on more appropriate forms of online support.

yes, makes me uncomfortable, must admit.

We aren't equipped for it, it's not REAL life on here and I think those threads should be pulled as soon as they are started. Tis no substitute for proper help I think.
