i suppose the trouble is that if you were in a state of mind where this was the only place left you felt able to reach out to anyone at all... then youre pretty far from being able to make sensible lucid decisions about doing the 'right' things in the 'proper' ways.
if there are other websites where people can post and get a near instant, sympathetic response, then sure, pointing people there may not be a bad thing.
but as daddy j says, its not about the whole world giving out hankies, people may only need a message or two of understanding.
tbh, i havnt seen the threads in question. and i dislike the idea that poeople are salivating over the misery of others if thats going on... yuk. but surely any communication is better than none if the only route left after that is ending it all?
