I sort of feel the Recipes board is for Proper Recipes. Like "does anyone have a good recipe for xxx?" or "I made this brilliant thing with organic italian truffles and just had to share..." or "how do you make fish pie?" and the like.

I really want to do a "I've got x, y and z, what should I cook?" thread and feel this lowers the tone over there with the clever foody people.

And it's also needs quick responses, like Chat. I don't want to know in a week's time, I need to know in the next half hour. It could be really good for random ideas just before tea time.
