Dear Mumsnet please could we have a 'Larger Families' section?

If I am going out and the kids need to be somewhere specific, I do have to leave precis instructions.
Dh is very good but, nothing else gets done when he is in charge, and they generally eat out!!. Bless.

Did anyone conceive before getting periods back? littlest is 10mths and I don't normally get any periods until have completely finished feeding no matter how little or how much baby';s taking. Had to stop at 15 mths with dc 4 so we coule work on dc5, but am a bit reluctant to do that this time.

Maybe we will just see what happens, I'm 41 now so maybe it won't happen , who knows.

Any more older mums amongst us?

My dh is exactly like that! everything has to be done before I go anywhere.........but I might be a bit of a control freak, cos I don't like the way he does things

oh, was thinking he should just be able to know what to do....like osmosis type thing.

My dh is great if I am going out but he would probably find it hard to do what you have put without some gentle reminding and maybe a list

ok, I want to ask a question, and only you ot will be able to tell me if it is me, or whether DH is the odd one.

I am going out tonight with the b'mouth MNers.

DD1 and DD3 are at dancing until 7pm.
DD3 needs to be at scouts for 7.30pm.
DS1 is ill (sick)
DS2 is being a pickle
I need to be at the restaurant by 7.30, but can be a little late as the others will drink and not care.

I am telling DH who needs picking up, who needs dropping, the plans for DD2 to get home after scouts, where to put DS1 as his bed is still airing from the sick all over it in the night.....

he is confused, has said my brain works to fast and my mouth faster and that I am going to have to sort me out and leave him a list of what to do with everyone, and text him to remind him about DD2 later when I am out.

HE IS THEIR PARENT TOO........surely after 15yrs together, 14 being parents, the last 5 as parents of 5, he should have some idea pn how to keep tabs on everyone too without my 100% imput ALL THE TIME.

is it me, my DH, or do you all have the same problems with YOUR DH's????

I was 16 when I met dh and moved in with him within a year My parenst were not impressed

I did an asda shop on line the other day, and it came to £354 for about a fortnight! (excluding milk and fruit and veg! )

I swear there is some type of geenie watching over me, and as soon as he see's me all relaxed and thinking we could actually have a nice calm holiday, he zaps me with something and ensure's it all goes to pot....!

I am 35, DH 38, and with this ot we both feel ancient most of the time!!!!

got DS1 with nasty sick bug today tho, so wait for easter sunday and we will all have it as we go down like domino's in our house!!!!
